Community
eBiz believe in actively supporting the local community. At eBiz, that means more than financial help interms of charitable donations and the paying of council rates.
We have chosen the following areas to focus our support:
- Improving the skills of young people to equip them for the world of business, work and technology. To this end we help Young Enterprise, The Princes Trust and local colleges directly and indirectly through encouraging staff to support our goals both in company and their own time. We also offer a work experience/internship/placement scheme to assist in developing skills closely related to our business activity.
- Helping our people succeed in their professional careers and personal development. We support staff in self development through rewards for training and for personal development.
- Providing selected charitable organisations that might not be able to afford eBiz products or those of our competitors with access to our technology and solutions.
- Financial support for charitable organisations that match our goals.
- Support for our local community, specifically the reduction of crime and the safety of our citizens.
eBiz encourage staff to give up some time from their normal working week to work outside the office and in the community. Staff are free to choose how that time is spent, but it must be an ongoing commitment. This time is not deducted from their holiday or pay, indeed it is part of their performance and review.
