Cemco was founded by 4 members in 1993 and today has developed into a leading group of independent merchants with 25 members, trading out of 124 branches, situated in most parts of the country, providing instant access to both heavyside and lightside building materials.
Cemco group members pool their purchasing power to obtain better terms from their chosen suppliers and, in turn, have the ability to be competitive in the market place.
The Cemco group turnover is now in excess of £600 million and with the recent inclusion of three new members and a further seven member branches opening by the end of 2006, Cemco's strategy is a very successful model which will ensure continued successful growth for the group.
